Yummy: Our Day in Eating Pictures
The day my family had been looking forward to for a month finally arrived! With much fanfare! It was the 2nd annual Taste of Falls Church and we had it marked on our calendar and everything!
For $25, we received 10 tickets. Each ticket equaled one sample meal from a nearby restaurant. So, Tristan, Cory and I did our best to sample the local fare... it was SUCH a hard job :wipes sweat off brow:
I started off with Shepherd's Pie from The Four Provinces:

Then Tristan decided to try ribs (his favorite) from Applebees

Cory went for the Ledos Pizza:

Tables? We don't need no stinkin' tables!

Next came Cory's mango shake from 2 Sisters Coffee:

And my Chicken Shawarma from Lebanese Taverna

Tristan and Cory had crab balls (haa...haaa) and some sorta chickeny and rib something from The Broad Street Tavern. They ate everything before we could take good pictures. Trust me, the food was good. Go look at their menu! And the website! And the takeout menu! Tony put all of them together and took the pictures for the banners all by himself.
Cory's mango shake idea was so good that Tristan and I had to try them out for ourselves:

Oh, and cookies. For everyone!

We ended the day with dinner at Five Guys and Boba Tea as an evening snack. And then we rolled ourselves home. Urp.
