You will be happy to know that I survived

Today Tony, the kids and I were peacefully driving home from Cory's All-County chorus concert when Tristan politely mentioned, "Uhhh Mom? You have a spider over your head."

I thought to myself, "Hahah, that silly Tristan. He loves to joke around."

Tristan repeated, "Mom? No really. Big spider. Over. Your. Head."

Cory added, "Yeah Mom, he's not kidding."

I looked up .. and .. omg..

THIS is what I saw ON THE CEILING OVER MY HEAD:

Ok. Maybe he wasn't that big or hairy but he was brown and freaky. And did I mention he was OVER MY HEAD?!?!?!?!?!

I swerved the car and yelled, "AHHHHH!!!! GET HIM AWAY!!! HE'S GOING TO DROP ON MY HEAD AND SUCK OUT MY BRAINS."

Tony, who may or may not be alive right now responded with, "Well, he's gonna go hungry."

And the kids laughed hysterically until they couldn't breathe.

Finally after much swerving and praying, the spider moved over to the window and I was able to shoo him outside with a chorus program while I screamed, "EWW!!! EWWW!!!! EWWWW!!!"

I hate spiders.

A New Opportunity

A new door opens (on November 27th - heehee) and Tony will enter with his pinky held high!
Though I'm quite sure he won't enter wearing this hat:
