And the winner was....
Option 1. Let's face it, those are some good-lookin' shoes!
I don't have a lot of pictures of New York because Tony and I were wandering around with our jaws on the ground most of the time. Talk about acting like major Tourons... We loved every minute of our 24 hour stay! I do have some pictures of our view from the hotel. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City and had a gorgeous view of the New York City skyline. Saturday morning we "brunched" at Cendrillon and wandered around the Wholesale district in Soho. We partied that evening in the penthouse suite on the 42nd floor of Le Parker Meridian. Sadly, Sunday morning we had to fly back home.. sigh..
Anyway, here are some pictures:
Oh.. first? Don't laugh... when we got to the hotel I was amazed that they folded the toilet paper in points IN THE PUBLIC RESTROOM. Do they run in and fold the tp after every..umm.. customer?

These were the neon lights which decorated the ceiling of the PATH train station.

Ground Zero. This is the stop the PATH train pulled into and where we transferred to the Subway:

This is the place where we brunched. It was next door to a... ahhh.. very interesting store. I'm not posting that picture. =p

And these are random hotel view pictures:
Jersey Side first.. this was the only pretty part we saw of Jersey omg. Garden State my You-Kn0w-What.

Jersey from our room:

New York view:

As we were packing Sunday morning, we heard a seagull calling from our window. We glanced over and saw that he was looking directly at us and squawking for all he was worth. We figured he was giving us a nice goodbye. The funny thing was that even though we took very few pictures the day before, Tony took 20398470918 shots of the silly bird. I'm just posting one of them:

Ok maybe a closeup because he was such a cute birdie:
